Asked for a 'Live Photo' of a Replacement for an Irreplaceable Lost Sweatshirt

  • Missing/Stolen Items
  • Insufficient Coverage

After two years as a customer, a Yelp reviewer says Poplin lost an irreplaceable sweatshirt and put her through an extended claims process: set up PayPal, find a link to a similar item, and track down the original receipt (which she managed to find in old emails). She says the company then asked her to send a 'Live Photo' of the replacement item before proceeding, despite the lost item being one-of-a-kind. She warns other customers that even with photos and receipts for everything sent, they likely still won't be compensated if an item goes missing.
